@how2decay: Replying to @hazel i say this with love for trans people. we are all oppressed by the same system, but who that system was created to control is an important part of dismantling the system, both capitalism and misogyny have been born from the exploitation of labour, the earliest form of exploitable labour being that of childbirth, which mens lack of ability to perform lead to the resentment and vitriol women are treated with today. #radfem #nottransphobicyouguysarejustnotlisteningtome

Trans men are so much more open to the idea that we are fundamentally different from cis men due to our experiences it's not crazy to say the same abt trans women although I do understand why some trans ppl reject and accept these ideas that doesn't make what you're saying any less true

what you said reminds me about how other prochoice ppl make the joke that if men could give birth, we'd have abortion pills sold at every gas station. but the thing is, then the power dynamic would likely be flipped since the main reason of our oppression is so they can control our womb. it is what they reduce us to. so if men could give birth then they would no longer be men in the way we currently understand what men

what's interesting is most trans people recognize this and speak about it when discussing their experiences. and putting it like this also helps trans people get the specific resources and furthers helpful discourse that centers their issues specifically. the ppl against this see gender as the heteronormative binary.

okay but every cis woman has a different experience in regards to the patriarchal control over her womb. like i will never experience the same kind of violent control over my biology that my grandma faced. our experiences are so viscerally different that i could never even imagine that kind of objectification (to be clear my grandma was born and lived in somalia most of her life). does that put all of us in a different category? or does that put 𝘩𝘦𝘳 in a different category, since she's the minority? I think theres a way to acknowledge different experiences without othering a minority group. The base of patriarchy is built over the control of our biology, sure, but that bleeds into literally every other part of our lives. Enough so that trans women (esp passing) experience similar social oppression, and tranwomen (non-passing) experience transmisogyny.

Im trans and i dont understand why people cant comprehend this? Its obviously true 😭 like sure womanhood isnt ONLY about female reproductive organs, but its a big part— and no ones womanhood is smaller or lesser from not relating to something most women relate to, could be biology or experiences

the fact that this video and your other videos has so many transphobic people agreeing with u and spewing hate in the comments should show you where your rhetoric stands… if an argument naturally attracts and validates bigots, then the argument is bigoted

trans women aren’t cis women but they’re definitely aren’t cis men and i don’t think it’s transphobic to acknowledge that

There is no one singular cis woman experience. this is just rooted in white supremacy and believing that your experience is the default. All women have a different experience of womanhood based upon n but not limited to, socioeconomic racial and ethnic backgrounds.

obviously trans women arent cis women. cis women dont face the amount of oppression trans women face let alone even trans men face on the base of their transsexuality alone.
