Maybe, but comparing the best most acclaimed works by Kurosawa, Kobayashi, Wong kar wai, Edward Yang, Bong Joon Ho, Park Chan Wok, to the best most acclaimed Hollywood films. One can say they like East Asian cinema better.

True maturity is realizing that all films have their own merit regardless of quality. Each film exists, not as a product of greed (although that may be a factor), but as a result of creativity unity and dedication from everyone involved. And not enjoying a film isn’t indicative of its quality, rather a sign that it simply wasn’t made for you

Idk ive seen a ton of asian movies and id say the average big budget hollywood movie is better than the averge asain movie but the highs of asian cienma are much higher and when you look at the best of the best asian cinema wins by a mile
