Prefacing this with my husband is a full foot taller than me. When we were dating, one night we were at a bar and a fight broke out I was completely oblivious to while I was talking to someone and my guy literally picked me right up out of my chair, placed me three feet to the left, grabbed our drinks, put them in my hands. I’m standing there like “what’s happening” right as a man is thrown across our table right where I’d just been sitting. He wasn’t gonna ask he just moved me. 😂

I said the EXACT same thing about tone. if my man EVER straight ordered me to do something, especially in a harsh tone, I'm doing it. because he doesn't normally talk to me that way. so I'd know "uh oh, something is up". how are these men normally speaking to their partners?

It annoys me too with some of them because they seem so staged. I can't tell you how many times I've noticed danger before my partner, and he comes with respect after. Some of these guys seem butt hurt that they are being told what to do because they are supposed to be the "protector" and are disrespectful about it

Facts. I will argue immediately if I think something isn’t necessary. But when my ex ordered me to get my metal water bottle out, get behind him, and stay back if he walks away -I didn’t even hesitate to follow the instructions. The tone says it all. It wasn’t a bark, it was a low warning because he cared. It was easy to hear the love behind the fear.

It's a trust thing. There's almost nothing my ex could have done to get me to listen to him no questions. The same could not be further from the truth with my husband. 🤷 I trust his judgement, observation and quick thinking. He says do something, I'll ask why later.

Look... if Im out and my husband OR my friend has a voice change and says get in the car, I'm doing it. I was in the car with a friend and I told her not look around and step out of her own car and she did it. I then got the spider from directly above where she was sitting. She would of freaked. Who y'all hanging with?

I had a cashier job a while ago and my fiance came to pick me up and a disgruntled customer followed me out... my man didnt need to say anything he instantly got between me and the guy, opened my door the blocked the guy. for reference my fiance is 6ft 4inch 300lbs but he is the biggest golden retriever gamer boy. He went from a giant puppy to full on viking, no words at the guy just a glare and that guy instantly backed off.
