The court has ordered the appointed receiver to immediately return the keys and restore possession of the facility. The development follows a legal dispute involving Cheddar and his business partner, Azad Cola, over the financing and ownership interests in the hotel. Cola Holdings Ltd had obtained a court order authorising a receiver, Nii Amanor Dodoo, to take possession of the property with police assistance. The dispute is linked to an alleged repayment of an International Finance Corporation (IFC) facility used to finance the hotel’s development. Cola claims he personally settled the facility and subsequently sought reimbursement, while Cheddar’s side has disputed aspects of the claim. The latest ruling marks a fresh turn in the ongoing legal battle and requires the receiver to hand back the hotel’s keys immediately.
