My baby used to cry scream like that I no sound in the end and then cuts out for a few seconds. Don’t know if it was related to having a small hole in his heart which I wasn’t aware of at the time, but was discovered when I moved abroad when he was five years old when I returned to England, I had it checked, and they said it was no longer there. It healed up.

In extreme cases, when blowing in the face doesn't work, then gently press the child's tongue down towards the lower jaw. My son used to do that at night when he was an infant and asleep 🫩
