@ChocolateNumbers: This quote that show the significance of the supernatural in play shows how the witches command “thunder lightning or rain” this quote sets up the importance of the witches and there power throughout the play they are in control of the narrative and what will happen it is also presented when Macbeth receives his prophecy and when he encounters Banquos ghost from this we can establish this as being important and integral to the play.linking this to the context of when the play was set we can infer shakespear had implemented to relate to his audience who believed in witchcraft and hunted it down in everyone who acted outside of societal norms. Specifically women also during this time king James the first was ruling England he claimed to encounter the supernatural and witches , due to being a king and being the funding of Shakespeare’s production we can infer that Shakespeare enacted this theme in order to win favour for king James as a play about taking down what the king had feared the most.The supernatural and the interference with the crown the king was a very superstitious person who even wrote his own book on about the dangers of witch craft (demonology). One more key fact about the majority of England in there times were Christian and followed the bible .This also influenced Shakespeare’s work. “Instruments of darkness” this describes the way Banquo views the supernatural as not something inherently evil but taken advantage of and used as a vessel by a higher power (the devil) “Double doubles toil and trouble fire burn and cauldron bubble” this quote is from the three witches casting a spell on Macbeth it signifies the destruction they bring this link to the Jacobean audience and the king “Never shake thy gory locks at me” set by Macbeth this quote describes the scene of Macbeth confronting Banquos ghost and now he has became the supernatural yet still isn’t

@sar: @Tauron g:Long comments help better.For everyone who is struggling, please hold on. there is someone out there meant to be the person who holds you on those hard nights, there is a better road ahead and i know it is hard to see it right now. it will get better, you have probably heard it a thousand times, it gets annoying but i promise you, in a few years when you are healed it will be something you look back on. if you have people to text, whether its family or friends, you have reasons to stay. one day at a time, grab a coffee with a friend, rip up a page of homework you just cant figure out, go out and enjoy the world in the night when its quiet. you do not need to prove you are enough to someone who sees what you don’t see in yourself. you are more than just a daughter or son or child, more than just a person. you are unique, with your hobbies, your life, your humor, your skills, your interests. there is a better road ahead, don’t let yourself derail before you see it. i know it is hard, but you are worth more than what you see in the mirror, you are worth more than the empty words that one voice in your head constantly tells you. your story isnt over for a reason, because there is something better for you just out of reach and you deserve to be able to reach it. you are loved, even when it doesnt feel like it. you are loved, even when you dont want to hear it. you are enough, even with a failing grade or having to stretch money out for your kiddos. you are doing amazing, even though you dont see it. i know it is hard, but you are closer to the stars than those voices in your head ever will be. you are enough. you are loved. you are cherished. you are worth people just sending 1 singular unserious sticker does NOT help btw long comments help better.for everyone who is struggling, please hold on.
