It’s easy to have something to say about the person posting the videos, starting the business, sharing their art, performing, creating, speaking up, or doing something outside of the norm. But being the one actually doing it? Being perceived? Letting hundreds, thousands, or even millions of people have an opinion about something you created or a piece of yourself you chose to share? That takes courage. Not everyone is going to understand you. Not everyone is going to like what you create. And not everyone is going to clap for you. They don’t have to. Because when you keep showing up authentically, you eventually find the people who do get it. The people who value what you bring to the table. I’ll be honest as a psych major and graduating with my psychology degree and then started on my masters degree and I’m not woke. I’m still normal common sense for fucks sakes. This is a simple fact and it’s undeniable anybody who critiques other people like it’s a way of life that’s how they get their 9 to 5 they don’t have real friends. They really don’t in real life. I’ve studied it. They don’t. They have people that called themselves friends that would abandon them in a heartbeat. My circle is roughly well I can actually count it off 14 people at this point. My circles is people I grew up with back in Revelstoke every single one of them. That’s why I know the real I would jump in front of a bullet or a bus for any one of them they would do the same and we don’t critique other people unless we’re just being silly, but we don’t do it to be harmful or hurtful I’m glad you speak up on stuff like this. That’s one of those things that just makes you so beautiful Bree. Oh you’re so cute. Try to sound like a grandma when I do that OK lol
