as a 21 yr old man I remember that having a big butt was considered an insult like I remember on Disney Channel the joke "At least my butt isn't big." was a repetitive joke. I'm sure people in my generation remember that, and I always found it weird because even as a kid I LOVED the curves

Tall but frail women as the beauty standard of society was created by modern elites. I’m actually curious why this happened. I always bring up Selena Quintanilla Perez as an example. I knew she was gorgeous. Many people of Hispanic descent thought she was gorgeous but she didn’t fit the beauty standard of the 90s, set by fashion magazines, ad agencies, movies, etc. her curves were not viewed favorably. Absurd, right? But I’m not lying. That’s how it was and it was like that for decades.
