Our society and new laws allowing anyone to apply to any job gives you unprecedented access. That access makes you think it should be easy. In addition, everyone has a microphone. Never before in human history have millions of people had access to the same system to compare notes about how hard it is to get a job. Leading you to believe that it’s harder than ever before and technology has ruined everything. And to top it all off you have career influencers who need content talking about how bad the job market is. Here’s the truth- ▪️It has never been easy to find a new job. ▪️Technology hasn’t made your job search harder it just made it easier to apply to jobs. Looking for a job has always been hard. There used to be laws against you looking for work now you get ghosted after filling out a job application and act like you’ve been discriminated against. There has always been an obstacle. Everyone has a microphone which makes you think that it’s worse than it has ever been. It’s not. You just have more access to people talking about it. Accept that looking for a job is difficult.
