Robinhood opened its accounts to AI agents, and almost nobody is talking about the part that actually matters. The setup is real: Agentic Trading launched in beta in May 2026 and reached crypto by summer. You open a separate Agentic account, fund it yourself, and connect an agent over Robinhood's Trading MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and Grok all support it. Your agent gets read only sight of every Robinhood account you have, but per Robinhood's own docs it can only place trades in the Agentic one, and it cannot transfer, stake or lend. Here is the part people skip. An agent with order access does whatever the prompt drifts toward unless you give it a file it cannot argue with. Four blocks. Constraints names the exact tickers, not a category, because if it is not on the list it does not exist. Entry is one condition that answers yes or no, and if it is ambiguous the answer is no. Sizing is the block everyone skips and the only one that decides whether a bad run is a scratch or the end. Exit is a stop, a target, or a clock. Then the workflow rule that makes the rest real: every proposed order must name the rule that allows it, and if no rule allows it, it does nothing and says so. Robinhood's own wording: agentic trading involves significant risk including the possible loss of your entire investment, agents can behave in unexpected ways, and you remain responsible for every trade. Leave auto execute off. Save this one. Book a 1:1 or an app build: tyblackard.com (link in bio) #ai #aiagents #mcp #crypto #robinhood
