I have diagnosed depression. I lived by the beach for 12 years and then moved to Michigan for 8 months. My depression went from functioning/manageable most days to 10/10 awful. I couldn't do the lack of sunlight and water. So I moved back and I'm never not living near the beach again.

Same..it’s angering to hear from those who live by the beach “yeah we live here but we never go” like tf you mean? I’d work my ass off during the weekdays happy as ever as long as my weekends could be spent in the water..others say “after a while it just gets boring”..like fuck no, the ocean could never be boring no matter what circumstances, even when I have a wife and kids we’d still be at the water
