Funny as it would be, that’s actually not what’s happening here lol. Traffic laws can still be enforced in off-street parking facilities and other public places that are not technically roadways. The only time it would really play out like this would be legitimate private property (not just privately owned, but not open to the public at all typically).

It’s illegal for a cop to do that by the way. They are not allowed to sit outside bars and restaurants and pull over patrons simply for pulling out of the parking lot. You would need to break a law
