@evie_brooks: Ok here’s the tea on @draytonmanor! 🎡🚂🦖✨ Honestly, it was one of the best family days out we’ve had in a very long time 🥹 And I’d definitely say the Easy Access system played a huge part in that! 🎢 A few of you have messaged me saying you’d feel nervous using an access queue because you’d worry about people judging or giving you funny looks 👀 I didn’t notice anything like that at all but equally, I wasn’t really looking 🤷♀️ I was focused on my kids, what they needed and actually enjoying the day with them ❤️ So how does it work? We went to Guest Services, showed my son’s Nimbus Access Card and asked for Easy Access. We were then given a physical card and each time we used the access entrance, the ride operator signed off one of the boxes. There was no set wait between rides for us, so we could use them when we needed to. But once all the spaces on the card were used, that was our allowance finished for the day 🎟️ And I think that’s probably the biggest thing I took away from it ❤️ Accessibility at Drayton Manor didn’t feel like ‘special treatment’ or like we had to somehow make it ‘fair’ by waiting between rides.
