I see this currently in middle school volleyball. It’s very wild to watch as a parent. Luckily I recognized this behavior & talk to my daughter about this. The hard coaching to get a better athlete is great but like you mentioned there’s a BIG difference in hard coaching & mental abuse. Also causing division on your team & then getting mad that they have no communication on the court is a result of them not trusting each other.
