Ripple Prime has built a regulatory and market-access pipe into the DTCC (allowing Ripple to act as a Wall Street broker). However, it has not built a live technical pipe that routes DTCC clearing volume through XRP or the XRPL. Standard U.S. stock and bond clearing within the DTCC still runs on traditional, off-chain infrastructure.

It actually makes sense that they would use XLM , because XRP CROSS BORDERS , DTCC is USA XLM Peer to peer , maybe those r my thoughts.

Only a small part of DTCC is cross border. XRP is still the best choice for that small part. It is still required if they are doing T1 settlement for that piece. That piece does not have to go live in October

Jake Klaver may be right about using XRP for the settlement on the back end of the stock market. However, his timing is way off and his hopium has probably hurt a lot of retail investors, who could not weather the downturns and the delays. His intentions are good. He’s like a good batter with a great swing, but his timing is off. Striking out a lot right now. One day he will be the home run King and many will forget all of his strikeouts.

All the crypto hype will end at some point, and at that point the term will be coined ‘infrastructure’…..as thats what Ripple really is. They’re essentially the backbone of a newer system, and “this token” and “that token” won’t even matter anymore as they’re already there.😎👍
