As a fellow heart mom, it’s gonna get harder before better :( they pushed my son’s surgery back 3 times and Truthfully I feel like theres a reason for it, timing is everything. It’s beyond frustrating and I’m sorry, there is gonna be a time where he’s gonna be outta the hospital thriving beyond what you think. The one thing about our heart warriors is they are so strong and brave. He just needs more time to prepare himself for the next surgery so he can heal faster! I promise there’s gonna be a time when you’re being discharged to have appointments every 6 months. Vinny just needs the extra care rn, he’s in the safest place possible! Y’all are doing amazing with everything given. Everything is gonna workout out PERFECTLY! 🩵

girl I feel you, it hurts and I understand. he is such a strong boy. they really can make their own decisions. we were so close to leaving and my bubba made some other plans. 💕

I sent you what I could spare so you could go down and get one of those fancy donuts and a good coffee and just be a girl for a minute. Being a new mom is HARD. But you my darling have it harder then I ever did as a mom and you are showing up. You are learning, advocating and being the exact mom Vinny needs. I’ve never been so proud of a stranger. I had some health problems last year and spend a good while in and out of hospitals and I know how monotonous life gets inside those walls. Get a donut and a coffee and sit outside for awhile ❤️
