Honestly you don't even need to spend significant money if you know where to look. I always research heavily about products (on Reddit, top tier reviews) so if I were you I'd either start looking up what the gold standard products are within your budget and which suit your hair/skin type. Also, usually 9/10 times it's cheaper to buy on amazon than in pharmacies. If you just go into any of the skincare or haircare subreddits and post your photo then people with similar hair/skin can tell you what you need to know 😼

I went from diy nails to becoming a nail tech 🤣 but removing that polish is def still cheap if you want to do it yourself , you only need a nail file and 100 percent acetone and it's $3/4 at Walgreens, you can buff the top layer to remove the shine and soak in a bowl of acetone for 10 15 min and you're good to go , you can do foils but it's not really necessary, if you wanna protect your skin you can put any oil on before you soak

my mom cuts my hair too. I don't eat out unless with someone, I don't go to concerts unless they are within a hour of me, i don't watch TV because I get stuck, i chose to read or draw and that makes my life a lot better.

a lot of these are relatable. I do my nails at home because $60+ minimum to get nails done is crazyyy (not shading nail techs, its just not something I can see myself paying lol) and I also cut my own hair. and instead of getting my eyebrows professionally tinted I buy $10 men's beard dye that lasts me like 3 months and do it myself lmao

your hair is cute like that!!! but straight olive oil is great for oiling the mid-ends of your hair. i like to infuse mine w rosemary for like a week. cheap and sooo good for your hair

Ive never door dashed, ubered or ordered my groceries. I dont drink im always DD id rather spend money on food and make sure everybody gets home safe. ive cut my own hair for the last 7 years or so. I have only YouTube premium. BUT.... I do have like 100 tattoos so I will spend money just depends on what it is 😬

until i found a very reliable and trustworthy stylist. i went to my local hair college for trims, $10 on tuesdays and i think $25 on regular days (in cad). i only recently started paying for coloring too, used to do it at home with my mom

I have a small nail drill and I bought the shellac stuff and the uv light. The same for the IPL hair remover. I do all my own self care. I haven’t stepped foot in a salon in years 😂 And same for the thrift and drug store makeup 🙌🏼

Only time I ever allow myself to DoorDash is when I’m sick. Cut my own hair and when I used to dye my hair I did that myself too. Not into doing my nails behind trim and file.
