They do not drag you off the ship . You are told you will be getting off at the next port for stealing part of the rules you sign off on when cruising you are given time to pack your belongings and you are escorted off the ship they make sure you have your belongings before disembarkation

Nope , not the way it works . If she was taken off the ship all her belongings go with her . In the haven , all alcohol is free . She had to have taken the bottle from another area of the ship , like a speciality restaurant . Bermuda has plenty of pharmacies with doctors right there to help . I’ve met people who lost scripts who got them filled at port .

She better win this! That’s outrageous, isn’t alcohol included in her package. Yeah she shouldn’t have taken the bottle but to kick her off without her meds or belongings is absolutely beyond outrageous. Someone was on one helluva power trip.

They have ships that are based out of CA & she lives in CA. The company actually does business in the state. How is suing in CA any different than suing companies that have offices in other states?

This story makes no sense. Alcohol packages are separate regardless of your stateroom class. Even if she did have a drink plan, the drink plan is only served by the glass, bottles are charged to your room. I'm sure there is a no tolerance policy for stealing regardless of price, but there are some expensive bottles on the ship, especially at the Haven bar. How can you possibly think taking a bottle from behind the bar would be something included? The medication thing makes no sense either, she would have been disembarked with her luggage. If are forgot it on the ship or didn't bring enough medication that isn't Norwegians problem.

They should have let her take all her belongings with her when she was kicked off the ship. She obviously knew taking the bottle (even if it was half full) was wrong otherwise she wouldn’t have put it in her purse.
