The holidays aren’t complete without a little Eggnog magic. (ad) Country Fresh Dairy Original Eggnog is velvety, sweet, and so nostalgic. Whether you love sipping it or using it in a recipe, these Baked Eggnog French Toast Cups are another delicious way to enjoy eggnog this season. Soft, custardy, perfectly baked bites of holiday comfort with all the warm and cozy spices. You’ve got to try it! Save this recipe and grab some Country Fresh eggnog to make this fun twist on French Toast this holiday season! What you need: 14 oz day old crusty bread (French loaf or sourdough), cut into 1” cubes 1.5 cups Country Fresh Original Eggnog 3 large eggs 1/3 cup liquid egg whites 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg (if you like extra nutmeg flavor) ½ cup dried cranberries (optional – could also use fresh) Glaze: ½ cup confectioners sugar + 2 teaspoons orange juice How to Make: Make sure bread is dry. If you have a fresh loaf, cut into cubes then toast at 350ºF for 5 minutes to dry out. Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a 12-cup muffin pan. In a large bowl add Country Fresh Original Eggnog, eggs and egg whites, cinnamon and nutmeg; whisk together until combined then fold in the cubed bread and cranberries, making sure all of the bread gets coated with the eggnog mixture. Place about ½ cup each of the soaked bread into each muffin cup, pushing pieces in as necessary. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tops are golden brown. Once cooled, add glaze with orange zest for a sweet topping, or serve with your favorite toppings, like whipped cream or maple syrup. This festive brunch recipe is perfect for the holidays, served alongside Country Fresh Eggnog, of course. #holidayrecipes #eggnog #eggnogrecipe
