Mate just a question , do you have to worry about movement/ expansion etc.. with no gap? Personally I think it looks fantastic, but just a question mate?👍

Screws are hardcore. I’ve secret nailed before but never secret screwed. Perhaps because it’s external and exposed to the elements? Expansion joint every meter also? Might be painful but at least it’s a quality build 👌🏻

Couple years and this will expand and buckle, couple mm expansion join every metre isn’t gonna do anything. looks great tho

I assume you’re putting a boarder around the outside. Will that have an expansion gap too on the ends or will it all just be cut off square? Looks unreal mate 👌

How fun is heritage work, had to replace some boards and cast iron balustrade 🥺 turns out no one really does them anymore 🤣 had to pull of one and get it moulded and cast aluminium

I literally just finished repairing a jarrah floor that had been laid to tight with no expansion gaps and was stapled, I face nailed it after cutting in expansion gaps, face nail the only way to go, but that looks good mate 👍
