@spiritualword: #ClaressaShields had a lot to say after securing another win! While speaking with Spiritual Word host Jasmine Elizabeth, Claressa reflected on the love she received from #Atlanta, saying the city showed up for her throughout the entire fight buildup and that she’s happy to bring boxing back to the city. Now that the fight is over, Jasmine got a little playful and asked what Claressa was most excited to do after having to refrain from certain things during training camp. Claressa immediately caught where she was going, called her “messy,” and said she was ready for some fried chicken, mac and cheese and yams! Things then took a more personal turn when Jasmine asked what God is calling Claressa to do with her platform. Claressa called her life a “living testimony,” opening up about growing up poor in Flint, surviving sexual abuse and overcoming difficult circumstances to become a world champion.
