I don’t really get why you like Franco in any shape or why use the George Floyd images but this is a really good analysis on political symbolism, that’s why most leftist who hardly believe in the destruction of liberal capitalism simpatize so much more with the image of Che then with Kim, people like to feel morally pure all the time and refuse to acknowledge that humans are way more complex that simple good and bad, so they pick the easy ideological way out, people who only could dream but never actually made a government over the pressure of imperialism(in a Marxist taking point because Franco was a very evil figure), this is why people mostly prefer figures like Lenin or sankara but refuse to see the leaders who had to stabilize a country while in constant pressure form the western world.
