I have the same hair texture as you and I would go shorter so you can get some weight off and keep the volume longer. Also texture powder will be a game changer!! I love the one from big sexy hair!! I cover half the hole with my finger when I sprinkle it on! (hairstyles here😁)

I have been told to use mousse and it will give volume….i have yet to try it though so I’m not sure how helpful I am 😅

You’re gonna have to use a volumizer and lift your hair while blow drying to get volume on the top. Two weeks ago you had extensions… You will regret cutting your hair off in a short bob.
