Think… 🥾 Thrilling hikes like Seneca Rocks & Chimney Tops 🧗🏻‍♀️ The NROCKS Via Ferrata adventure 👙 Floating down the North Fork of the Potomac River 💦 Chasing waterfalls at Blackwater Falls State Park 🍂 Incredible fall foliage galore (this is the perfect fall getaway)! 🌄 Endless mountain views like Spruce Knob, Bear Rocks and the Dolly Sods 🏕️ And some seriously AWESOME free dispersed camping! On our latest trip, we found what might be one of my favorite campsites in West Virginia yet - tucked right behind Blackwater Falls State Park, with trails that let you hike straight from camp into the park. 🤯 So how do we find wild camping spots like this?! We use @onX Offroad Dispersed Camping Layer highlights motorized roads and trails where dispersed camping opportunities may be available, making it SO much easier to figure out where to start looking. [partner with onX Offroad] We also use it constantly for finding unpaved forest roads, public land and off-the-beaten-path places to explore!
