I like Armin, but I don’t understand why people insult Floch for wanting to save Erwin. If I had to choose between saving the captain or a very intelligent kid, the choice would have seemed obvious to me. Eren let his emotions get the better of him, trying to influence a captain’s judgment and putting the entire population of Paradis at risk because he wanted to save a friend of his. Armin was probably the better choice for humanity in the end, because I’m not sure what Erwin would have done. However, I would have loved to see a dynamic in Season 4 where Eren hated Levi for saving Erwin instead of Armin. It would have been interesting to see Eren resent not only the world outside the walls, but also his own captain.

Levi escogió a Armin sobre Erwin por una razón principal, Levi sabía que Armin tenía sueños y deseos (ir al Mar y conocer el exterior), Erwin también tenía sus propias ambiciones (saber la verdad de los titanes y el mundo), la diferencia entre ellos era que Erwin sacrifico a cientos de soldados solo para ir avanzando más a la verdad, una verdad que quería descubrir no para ayudar a la humanidad, si no, para confirmar la teoría de su padre y el, en cambió Armin siempre puso por delante a la humanidad y sus victorias, aunque eso significará sacrificar sus sueños y a el mismo, eso es lo que Levi reconoce al final, Erwin solo seguía pensando en si mismo (ya que se muestra que les ataque la mano preguntando a su padre por el mundo exterior) eso demostraba que hasta el final solo pensaba en ello, en cambió Armin hizo un sacrificio sin que nadie se lo pidiera, Levi en su última charla con Erwin lo obligó a marchar con sus soldados a la muerte y dejar de lado su sueño y vida, en cambió Armin se mandó a si mismo para lograr la victoria, el mismo renuncio a su sueños.... en fin, Levi nunca tomo la decisión incorrecta, tomo la decisión más acertada, "revivir" a la mayor esperanza de la humanidad, el chico inteligente que no solo pensaba en si mismo, si no también en los demás, ya que cada plan que ingeneaba era para minimizar perdidas de vidas y para maximizar efectividad, el mismo Erwin lo dijo (" es nuestra mejor arma") regiriendose a lo estrategico, Armin siempre quizo liberar a la humanidad, para que todos pudieran conocer el mundo exterior y ser libres al fin.... no era solo un sueño egoísta, era un sueño que quería para la humanidad también....
