my grandpa passed away when I was 11 and I didnt even cry because I barely knew him and I really do miss him he had cancer and spent all his days downstairs because my grandma couldnt afford chemo so I went my life barely knowing him only seeing him at dinner at their house a few times a year and I truly do regret not getting to know him better because I feel like I was just his grandson and not somebody that he truly bonded with and I regret it every time I think about it I could have went down and talked to him about how it was going but I was to busy i with my cousins that didnt care so I never even had a real conversation with him when he was dieing and I didnt even know it in the hospital all I could do was regret not doing anything i never even got to tell him I loved him or cared about him not even about how I was doing

my grandpa didnt die but he had a stroke and it changed him i dont know who he is anymore he was nice and always loved and cared about everyone and now hes yelling and getting mad at everyone im the one who found him on the ground i always blame myself if i couldve found him earlier he couldve still been my papa abulo he was a better dad than my real dad ever was i’ll never forget how he was.

I isolated myself so much with the true feelings of my mother dying that I don’t remember the small things about her— of course I remember her name, but I don’t remember all of their memories I had with her. I wish I could see her again

my grandfather and grandmother on my fathers side died before i was even born. it sucks to know they’re both gone before i could’ve even known them, but from what i’ve heard, they were great people. i hope they were, and i hope they found peace.

my grandpa died when I was 10 the week before I was going to stay the weekend with my grandparents and I really never got to hang out with him but I decided to not go and he died that weekend and it was really messed up because I didn't get to hang out with him and i didn't get to say goodbye to him I miss him like hell

My uncle died back in 2019 I was only Ike seven It broke the shit out of my family and I can’t even remember what I said to him last all i remember was him just walking in and me and my sister screaming “uncle pp” cause his name was Peter and so fucking hard living with out him man

When I was a baby and toddler, with my grandpa I would always grab his cane, or hold onto it. They saved thqt cane for me but I feel like I'm not worthy of taking it, not yet. It hurts to much to think about him. I don't think I should have to be the one to take it.

my dad died when i was 15 he was murdered i still remember him so much every day i wish i had the time to have a real relationship with him but i can only be glad i had him while he was here.
