Happy Autism Awareness Month! As you all know, I have an amazing son that is on the autism spectrum. This is C3, he’s 6 years old and was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 years old. In this video, it was the first day of spring break (which I believe initially threw him off) and I walked into his room to get his clothes out for the day, and stepped/broke one of his favorite toys. This is not the first time a toy has broken, so I was shocked that he reacted this way. It was a quick reminder that I have a special needs child. C3 is high functioning, so every day doesn’t always FEEL like I have a special needs child. Mama, I want you to know that you are not alone. We all get frustrated. We all cry. We all have had a moment where we felt like “Why me God?” I want you to know that God specifically chose you for his special child. He will equip you with everything you need to get through. Keep going Mama!
