if i was Thailand I would not allow them to set foot on dry land. they can stay on the ship. there's no way that they will behave in a civilized manner. they're dirty, infested with disease, mentally problematic, they jumped overboard etc. americans don't respect local customs and laws. they cannot be trusted to treat women decently. it's proven that wherever american soldiers have gone there's been problems with treatment of women. they believe they won't suffer consequences because they leave the country and the american government will protect them. for safety sake of the local citizens they must stay on the ship.
