I typically do at least 1oz beans per 8oz alcohol.. usually closer to 2oz beans. Is there a reason you don’t do at least the standard 1:8 ratio?

I have been making my own. My husband got a Christmas gift from his last job and one of the options was a case of vodka, full size bottles. So thankful I get to have that on hand to make it into vanilla!
