Rock legend Neil Young has filed a $10 million lawsuit against a political action committee supporting President Donald Trump, alleging that it repeatedly used his hit song “Rockin’ in the Free World” without authorization, despite a previous agreement prohibiting its unlicensed use. The lawsuit, filed Monday in federal court in Virginia against Trump 47 Committee Inc., claims the song was played shortly before Trump appeared onstage at an October 12 rally in Youngstown, Ohio. Young also alleges that the recording was used at several other political events without his consent.
