@rabrodmineral44: NORTH WEST EDUCATION DEPARTMENT CONDEMNS LEARNER’S ALLEGED MISCONDUCT TOWARDS TEACHER NORTH WEST – The North West Department of Education has condemned the behaviour of a learner who was captured on video allegedly swearing at a teacher at a school in the province. Department spokesperson Dr Elias Malindi said discipline remains a critical part of the schooling environment and learners should attend school primarily to learn and respect educators. Malindi called on parents, guardians and civil society to work together with schools in promoting positive behaviour and restoring discipline among learners. The department said incidents of misconduct undermine the teaching and learning environment and must be addressed to ensure schools remain safe spaces for both learners and teachers.
