Man, I just said that today. My mom and dad were married for 20 years. They always dreamed of going to Italy. It was always when the kids are grown, and when we have enough money. By the time those things happened, my dad cheated on my mom, married his mistress and took her to Italy. My mom died in January at 77 without ever getting a passport. I’m gong to Italy on Saturday for her.

Both my parents!! They were high school sweet hearts that worked so much to have an average life. They never got to see the world just worked to pay bills and take care of me. My dad got sick with cancer and fought for a few years he passed and two months after my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She didn’t even make it a year. Losing them has shifted my whole perspective on life.

If she’s still here, you still have the chance to give her another chapter …to love her, appreciate her, and create the memories you wish you could rewrite. And if she isn’t, remember that her story didn’t end when her life did. A part of her will always live within you because you were born from her, and you carry pieces of her with you on your own journey. Just as she carried you before you ever entered this world, you can carry her with you through the rest of yours. You can’t rewrite everything that happened to her, but you can honor her by continuing the story with love, purpose, and a life she would be proud of.❤️

It broke my heart hearing about my mom’s childhood. She didn’t deserve any of that. She struggled as an adult and unfortunately I lost her due to addiction 10/28/19 😢

Dancing through motherhood :
The worst decision my mom ever made was marrying my father. She put up with him for 35 years only to die in her 50s before she ever got to experience anything fun or happy in life. 💔 my biggest heartbreak in life.

I always thought life just worked itself out and she’d get her happy ending one way or another cause if anyone deserved it, it was her. Then, I watched cancer slowly take the person I loved most. Life was so unfair and dealt her some shitty cards, she struggled every day of her life until the end. I wish she would’ve known peace and true happiness at least for a day..
