Umh "Discomfort doesn't mean you should quit" as an AUTISTIC person, it means!!! Because if I will push myself and do something through discomfort, all I will have is intense burnout later and I will be absolutely useless for the next long period of time, month, for example, or a week at least. Once it was a year because I pushed myself too much. I thought I had depression but it was a burnout. And sometimes, if I'm really interested, I indeed can work through discomfort because I will receive good hormones as well that will motivate me. And those can be the really hard tasks, but usually, I feel the difference between potential burnout and just a mild inconvenience. If the work will give me the needed amount of reward, I will burn out later, so I can do more. I think usual people also should not push themselves too much. Listening to your body is the most important thing, other things are bullshit.
