@tulparmaps: Animation shows each cities shortest-path tree algorithm within 20 minutes reachability. Fastest route segments are included, while redundant streets, most ring roads and some dead ends are dropped. It uses real road geometry from the approximate city center and growing outwards. Heigh and color both encode the same thing—travel time from the center. Root/center = 0min, tips = 20min. Line thickness shows how many other destinations' fastest routes pass through that segment.
