She had gone to the Bloomingdale Regional Library to return some books when she was surprised by Kendrick Morris, a 16-year-old teenager who followed her, r@p€d and b€@t her, leaving her unc0nsc!0us, bl!nd and p@r@lyz€d. The DNA evidence from both cases led the police directly to Kendrick Morris, who was arrested and charged for his involvement in the crimes.
