aw he loved me as a person and not as a parrner or what i could do for him or our relationship- he didn't just love or understand me, he saw me through the hardships and constantly showed up for me even when all signs pointed to leave the relationship alone. he was always selfless, always putting my care first, always so considerate. he constantly reassured and reiterated how healthy love should be. it made me want to be better and get better for him, because he deserved nothing less. oh to have found someone who pushes you to be the best version of yourself and create the space for me to have done so. i think he fell in love with me before he did as his girlfriend and partner and that is why i will forever be grateful and so lucky to have been loved by him 💙
