We’re not at the point of needing IVF yet, we haven’t even had our first fertility clinic appointment yet. But after having our initial tests done, the conversation naturally turned to what the next steps could look like. That’s when it really hit me… We don’t qualify for NHS funded IVF, and we don’t have the savings to pay for it privately if we ever got to that stage. I’m trying not to get ahead of myself because we don’t know what the future holds. But the thought that this door might not even be open to us if we need it has been sitting heavily with me. TTC has a way of making you think about things you never imagined you’d have to. One step at a time… but this realisation has definitely been a hard one to process. 🤍
