I still have my Everlane cashmere crews from over 15 years ago. They won’t even pill no matter what I do. If I bought a crew neck from there today it would pill while being shipped 😭

This series is so well-timed and much appreciated. As I transition my wardrobe to higher quality pieces, I find myself in exactly the problem you mentioned; difficulty in finding items i like. I have come across some basic crewnecks finally and now I am tempted to stock them in multiple colors.

I am honestly so frustrated with shopping in general. So many people say x brand is great quality and then it is not specially on tiktok (not saying this is her case). But I just kinda wanna give up on finding great basics at not an insane price. And I am not saying zara price either like what is considered more mid range. sorry for the rant

I’m just wondering when I see something that’s 100% wool, cotton, cashmere how will I know that it’s a lower quality aside from things being misshapen? Some brands hide it better than others and do have reviews on their items.
