He is now on the floor running the kitten's play session. 🐱😹🧡 Kittens learn most of their social behaviour between two and seven weeks old, which is why early play with people and other cats matters so much. Social play then peaks from around four weeks to four months, so a kitten this age is basically all engine. Kittens sleep 16 to 20 hours a day and spend their waking time in short, intense bursts of hunting practice. Cat behaviour advice is to let them chase toys rather than hands, because whatever a kitten practises now it will keep doing at full size.
