Keep praying the Rosary. Keep going to Mass. Keep going to confession. Spend time in Eucharistic Adoration. Open your heart to God, even if all you can offer Him is your silence and tiredness. You don’t have to come to Him with perfect words or perfect feelings. Come as you are. And remember, dear soul: God has not abandoned you. Perhaps He is inviting you into a deeper kind of love—a love that remains even when the emotions fade. Trust Him in the silence. Trust Him in the waiting. Trust Him when you feel close to Him and when you don’t. One day, you may look back and realize that even in the season when you thought God was far away, He was quietly carrying you all along.
