I read a SAHM reddit post today. the OPs husband will not give her a dime to buy clothes or even shampoo while he spends hundred on cigarettes and tools. He gave her $30 to go to the grocery store. He told her to get new clothes from the thrift store since her old clothes don't fit her after having their baby. she owns nothing. has nothing to her name. not even a bottle of shampoo because she is fully dependent on him and he will not give her a dime

when you're 18 years old, 4 years feels like a lifetime and $50k in debt seems massive. but when you put it into perspective of a whole career ahead of you, it is a drop in the bucket! (yes college should be more affordable but forgoing it will set you behind for life)
