To anyone who listens I feel at a loss. I have not taken the SAT or the ACT, and it is starting to scare me quite a bit. I only found out in the spring about the meaning behind taking these tests and how important they are, and also that I can get the cost waived. However, while I wanted to take it in the Fall (August or September), I quickly realized that the nearest test center is over 40 minutes away and I am not able to travel to one to take the SAT. Does anyone have advice for my situation? Btw, my dream schools are mostly oos, and I think taking these tests is required.

Hey Brandon, am I cooked? My freshman year of high school was terrible due to mental illness, but I’ve been gone on a great upward trajectory. I’ve been maximizing my course rigor to the best of my ability since I go to a rural school.

If I’m applying to T20 schools but my major is in the humanities and I’m already taking 6 other APs more related to my major, would dropping Ap physics and not having a science lower my competitiveness? For context I go to a magnet public high school but I don’t want to overwhelm myself, ur advice is greatly appreciated
