Why does everyone say he is the long hair guy replacement ? Keep in mind the short guy ignored her first and the long hair guy gave her what she wanted then he died and so the short guy with her starting liking her and showing up for her. Noriko is in no position to ever fuckin be angry or upset with him for doubting her love. The novel shows how shitty Seiroku actually was, backstabbing Kengo after initially giving him the push to go for Noriko. Seiroku and Noriko tried to elope and run away together, abandoning their close friend and fiance Kengo. Then Noriko is going to act like Kengo is in the wrong for going through survivor's guilt and feeling insecure, despite that Seiroku caused his own death inadvertently with his initial lie and choosing to elope and caused the entire situation? She still fuckin had feelings for Seiroku, bch had no right to feel angered over Kengo doubting her love. If Seiroku came back alive at this point, she would have 100% abandoned him again and gone off with Seiroku. Personally feel like Kengo should have moved on and found someone else after healing, he deserved better.
