I'm an OB nurse and I sleep with a towel and I brought it with me to all 3 births 😂 stuff it in your pillow and when you need a sniff it will be right there 😂 do it

They’ve seen it all. There’s nothing wrong with bringing it with you. Why wouldn’t you? It goes everywhere with you. This is a very important moment even if you don’t pull it out of your bag, you should have it.
