as a little girl I used to sleep at my grandmas house and her back room faced out to a block of high rise flats. When I was going to sleep I'd lay there and watch all the lights in the flats gradually turn off. This video felt like I was five years old spending a night at my grandmas ❤️

I love winter because of this. Sitting early morning in my kitchen, sipping on my tea and watching how slowly everywhere in the neighborhood the lights are turned on. And when it’s snowing it feels so nostalgic to me.

When I was in the newborn trenches (both times 🥲) I used to keep my curtains open so I could see other people’s lights flickering on and off.. so I could see that their were other people awake and living life at those hours! This really hit home for me. You are very talented 👏
