I spent a large portion in my career working for Coach Sam Harrell. Three state titles, Texas High School Football Hall of Fame, 239 wins. And in all that time I never once saw him get down on a kid. Whatever they see on their coach in that half second becomes their standard for how to respond. If I panic, they panic. If I’m steady, they’re steady.
