@shadybailey04: 25 years later, I still carry this chapter with me. From 2002 through 2004, T&M Architectural Metal & Glass was one small part of the temporary WTC PATH station rebuild. We worked alongside trades, laborers, superintendents, engineers, contractors, and project teams who showed up every day to help move Lower Manhattan forward. I was proud to be there. I was also scared to be there. I did the work anyway. I remember the pressure, the schedule, the people, and the commitment. I remember James Lavelle, my superintendent, whose steady presence mattered more than I understood at the time. And I remember the many hands behind the rebuilding, including DC 9, Local 580, Local 3, Local 1, the laborers, and countless others whose work became part of a much larger history. This is not about one company or one person. It is about remembering the lives lost, honoring the people who carried the rebuilding forward, and recognizing the years in between that are not always part of the public story. Never forget.
