even the justice league show had John deal with racism. these people are grifters poorly disguising their bigotry as simple criticism but they only prove that they don't know what they're talking about and only have a problem with black people and or women not fitting their narrative

Fine with making changes but they changed way too MUCH to the point it severely altered his character. I also don’t like the whole way he was raised to be a lantern. Kind of ruins the whole point of the ring choosing people who are genuinely suited for it. Basically just removed a lot of the authenticity, while also removing Johns own autonomy

It’s so funny watching these folks fall apart in real time. This show is the perfect litmus test for weeding out which Comicbook audience actually understands what an adaptation is. They really just hate being challenged 😂

Why can’t people understand that live action superhero media is setting out to do its on run with its own lore. Yes they are adapting comic book stories but most comic book media including the mcu does drastically changed characters to fit there worlds overarching stories. It’s just as if a new comic run came out that developed a new storyline behind a preexisting character.
