i hate to ruin the fantasy 🥹 i think we need to be careful about romanticizing the daily commute. there’s nothing wrong with finding beauty in ordinary moments, but for many people, it’s not something to romanticize. it means standing in the heat, sitting through traffic, rushing for a seat, and competing just to get on a ride; a burden they wish they could escape. we can appreciate the little moments without turning the struggle itself into a fantasy :))

When my grandma died we went back sa Pagadian. 6+ years before nakabalik kuya ko. Pabalik na kami sa Ozamiz when my kuya asked me if pwede ba non-aircon sakyan namin kasi gusto niya lang ma smell, ma feel yung breeze and everything. He became so nostalgic. And it was so sad and relieving to see him feel that way

Bus na ordinary + 90's songs. ✨🥹 Naiimagine ko nung bata ako, habang excited ako sa pag-uwi ng mga kapatid kong galing Manila, ganun pala yung feeling at na-experience nila. Yung nakakapagod na biyahe (10-12hrs Manila-Bicol) at the same time excited din kasi makikita mo yung pamilya mo, yung comfort ng bahay niyo at yung slow-paced life na wala sa city.
