This is the first time that someone has broken this down with understanding. When I read this particular passage I always thought that the reason they wanted a man to be their king was because the people wanted to have someone tangible that they could see in a human form to be able to actually touch see and have a personal connection with , again I repeat in the actual flesh like you and I . It’s like we can make I contact with the people that we’re talking to. I find it a lot harder to talk God though eye can’t see Him physically, but I do it anyway because I know He’s there in the spirit. I know one day I’ll see Him in all His Glory in a glorified body .
